Answers to common questions about quotes, risk assessments, and contract drafts.
How do I generate a quote?
From your dashboard, go to Quotes → New Quote and complete the 7-step wizard — your profession, project type, description, scope, client location, deadline, and revisions. We use these details to calculate a recommended price, a price range, and a risk assessment.
How is the risk score calculated?
Your project description and scope details are screened for common red flags — unlimited revisions, vague or undefined scope, rushed deadlines, full IP/rights transfer demands, tight budgets, and unpaid trial work. Each match raises your risk score and adds an alert explaining the concern.
How do I delete a quote or analysis?
Open the quote or analysis from your archive, then use the delete action on its detail page. Deleting a quote also removes any contract draft generated for it. This cannot be undone.
How do I edit an existing quote?
Open the quote and click "Edit Quote". This re-opens the wizard pre-filled with your current details — update any field, and we'll recalculate the price and risk assessment when you save.
How do I generate a contract draft?
From a quote's detail page, click "Generate Contract Draft". We recommend clauses based on your project's risk alerts and profession, covering scope, payments, revisions, IP rights, responsibilities, and more. If you edit the quote afterward, you can regenerate the draft to keep it in sync.
